A field outing to Corndon Hill, Radnorshire, about 5 miles north of Bishops Castle Situated in the extreme east of the former county of Radnorshire, Corndon hill is known as a site for a number of uncommon plants, including several ferns not usually seen in the area. Mill Green, Ingatestone, Essex Joint meeting with Essex Field Club Mill Green and Stoneymore Wood is part of the formerly extensive Writtle Forest and remains an important area of mixed habitat in central Essex.
