Saturday 13th June 2015, 10.30 a.m. Many thanks to Mark Border for organising a very interesting programme. We start at Cliff End, on the edge of Pett Level, where the Upper and Lower Cretaceous form cliffs at Fairlight. These rocks are unstable, and fossil deposits from the Jurassic are constantly being exposed. We hope to be joined by members of the Hastings Geological Society whose knowledge on our last visit enabled us to see horsetail fossils, and even Quillwort ancestors…
