On a Wessex meeting in August 2015, Jo and Ashley Basil showed me Adiantum capillus-veneris, which they had recently found, growing on a railway bridge in Sway (see below)
In March 2016 I found a small Adiantum capillus-veneris (see below) growing at the bottom of a railway bridge in Buriton
These finds led me to go to discover the other known sites in Hampshire
