During this 1-day meeting, the Cultivar Group has arranged for us to view the fern cultivars in the garden. In particular though, there will be an opportunity to see the fern herbarium collection to which Graham Ackers devoted a considerable amount of time and energy.
Please meet at Garden Entrance at 10:00 for plant swap.
10:30 meet up at entrance; you will need a RHS card or go in or as a guest of some one who is a member
We will spend the morning looking at the herbarium then by 12.30 we will stop for lunch
Restaurant on site or bring sandwiches
Then we will walk round the gardens and see what there is. There are some interesting sporelings in the rockery and some old clones of varieties elsewhere
