EA&SE: Kemsing Down and Basted

Joint outdoor meeting with the South-East Group
All weather footwear recommended (wellies)
Packed lunch or Pub about 1pm and meet up again at Borough Green about 2.30
An opportunity to enjoy a wonderful wood and enjoy the Bluebells as well and identify ferns as they are emmerging
Meet at 19a Northdown Road Kemsing TN156SD to condense cars
And go up to Rowdow Lane and park at Birchin Cross Road
After walk return to 19a Northdown road to collect cars and disperse for lunch

Lunch ( lunch not provided) there is a Pub The Bell in Kemsing and a nice Italian Delicatessen, has a Gluten free menu and very nice quality
(If you want to use the deli please let me know so I can warn them)
There is also a chip shop near the car park at Borough Green on the cross roads on the other side of car park to the entrance
After lunch meet at the car park in Borough Green off the A227 (Western Road)
Were we have the opportunity to see a very interesting wood were we also have a naturally arrived fern cultivar and a non native fern that has established it self in several places plus a good range of natives and amazing Harts tongue banks!
