Museum visit at Gallery Oldham to look at herbarium specimens of ferns and lycophytes – I recall they have some interesting material for New Zealand as well as the UK. Leader Mike Canaway. For directions, parking and public transport see https://galleryoldham.org.uk/ there is a tram service from Manchester railway stations which stops nearby and there is also parking in Sainsburys next door as well as the pay and display car park mentioned on the web site. The aim is to finish by lunchtime followed by the option of a snack lunch at the museum café.
