Leaders: Fibrex Nursery (am.) Angela Tandy and garden visit (pm.) Alistair and Margaret Urquhart

Fibrex nursery needs no introduction to fern fans as the source of probably the widest range of plants available in the UK. As always, we can expect a warm and enthusiastic welcome at the nursery from Angela.

Alistair and Margaret’s Garden will be less well known but they will make us equally welcome. We have visited a couple of times with BPS groups and have invariably been very impressed with the range and quality of the ferns grown there. The garden is also an object lesson in combining ferns into a wider range of plantings. There are notes of a previous visit on page 126 of The Bulletin Vol 8 No.2 2015.

Meet at 10.30am at Fibrex Nursery, Honeybourne Road, Pebworth, Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire, CV37 8XP. The garden address is 82, Banbury Road, Kidlington, Oxon. OX5 2BX. We will aim to arrive there at 2.00pm and intend to arrange a pub lunch during the journey between the two locations.
