YFG Monitoring Groups
A new development of the YFG is to take a more active role in fern conservation as part of our activities. We have identified a number of projects where monitoring is needed. These are each headed by a coordinator. As these monitoring activities can be weather dependant or may develop as time goes on, it is often not possible to book dates in this programme. Hence we adopt the principle that, if you are interested in helping, please contact the coordinators directly and they will keep you informed of dates and activities during the year. The coordinators and the species they deal with are:
Woodsia ilvensis (Teesdale)
Laurence Sutton email@example.com
Osmunda regalis (Askham Bog) and Asplenium marinum (Hull) Yvonne Golding – firstname.lastname@example.org
Moonwort (Swaledale) and Pillwort (Strensall and Skipwith) Barry Wright – email@example.com
Polystichum lonchitis (Dales)
Bruce Brown – firstname.lastname@example.org
Vandenboschia (Trichomanes) speciosum (Bell Bank and others) Jesse Tregale – email@example.com
Steve Hindle – firstname.lastname@example.org
