Grandiceps Fox | Polypodium cambricum | Large robust cultivar with large crest on top of the frond and on all the pinnia tips very dark green height 30-37cm (12-15ins). Called Fox as named after Mrs Fox who found it at Grange over Sand Cumbria in 1868 | Like all cambricums it likes some lime in the soil and good drainage. Winter green looses it fronds in late spring and comes back into frond in August, September when it gets enough rain or a hose pipe.
