BPS Subscriptions are due on 1 January each year. The rates are:

Postage is charged extra for overseas members, according to the table below:

Not sure which Postal Zone you live in?
There is no extra charge for postage in the UK.
How to Join
People may join at any time of year, but after the end of September they can opt for membership for the following year.

Alternatively you can apply for membership, on the application form, available here. It can be downloaded and completed and sent to the Membership Secretary from whom further details can be obtained.

Cheques should be made payable to ‘The British Pteridological Society’ and sent to the Membership Secretary, Peter Madders, 16 Battlebridge Court, Wharfdale Road, London N1 9UA.
Other convenient methods of payment for overseas members are an International Girobank Order in Sterling, or directly through bank accounts using either BIC – NWBKGB2L or IBAN – GB06 NWBK 538116 82258813. Please add £1 to the total if paying by bank transfer, to cover the bank charge to us. Please pay in Sterling. If you have to pay in a currency other than Sterling, please add a further £5 to cover the extra bank costs for conversion.
Data Protection Act 1998. For the purposes of exemption of the Society from registration, prospective members please note that all membership & subscription details are held on computer file. Members may, on request, see a copy of their own entry. A full membership list and updates are published regularly in the Society’s Bulletin.
