|The 20 anisophyllous species of the genus Selaginella Beauv. found in West Africa are revised on the basis of morphological, vegetative features including epidermal details of the leaves. Details of the cones are given including details of the sporophylls, spores and the distribution of the megaspores and microspores in the cones. A key is given for the identification of the West African species.|
