Mission Statement for BPS Website Sub-Committee

The aim of the Website Sub-Committee is to create a new BPS website that is:

• attractive in design
• easily navigable
• up to date with BPS news and information
• appealing to potential members
• responsive to existing members’ requirements
• contributes to our charitable status by providing educational content
• interactive with users (including the on-line sale of membership and merchandise)
• updateable by anyone with suitable training (and appropriate safeguards)

The Sub-Committee

• will use modern website architecture to ensure slick navigation and attractive design (if necessary employing professional website designers)
• will consult widely among the membership about the content
• will ensure there are enough trained authors to keep the content up to date
